Royals. Traveling all year round and duties every day. Yes, seven day work weeks. Then family and hobbies. Welcome to the packed Royal Life. But how do Royals manage to put all that into their schedule and still manage to look fit and strike a pose and smile? It is all about Royal Time Management. One of the biggest secrets everyone of us can learn from the monarchial ruling families in our world.
Travel. As many appointments happen in remote locations, diplomatic travels and state visits, the most important thing is to travel in peace. Every spare minute is used for a little nap, browsing through the mail or conferencing with family. My fathers cousin Queen Margrethe II. of Denmark constantly drives with a chauffeur and uses the time in the car to do work, go through her schedule and for conference calls. Prince William and his Duchess Kate drive the cars themselves and use it as a quality time of privacy. And Crown-Princess Mary of Denmark loves to go to appointments by bicycle, because she enjoys riding there with her children and using the time parallel as family sport time. Welcome to multitasking of travel.
Multitasking. To get most out of the day Royals love to combine family life with duties and obligations. When there is a state visit the children are brought to the appearances and therefore family time equals work or work equals spending time with the kids. Multitasking also means multi facilities. A conference can either be in Buckingham Palace, Sandringham Castle, on the Royal Train or in Windsor Castle.
Locations. Everything everywhere. Royals are the idea-giver for modern communication devices. Your Ipad or Iphone allows you to work and communicate wherever you are. Royals always were able to communicate wherever they have been. All palaces, residences, the royal train or eg. the Royal Yacht Dannebrog of Denmark have desks, phones, meeting table and desks.
Staff. If things need to happen fast and smooth, you should start surrounding yourself with a good team. Royals have staff, you might have relatives and friends to help you and you can trade labour. If you know a kid great at the computer, ask to get help for your social media or website. Your best friend is great with typing. Great so trade what you can do best with an hour typing letters.
Be punctual. I absolutely hate to be late. It is disrespectful and not necessary. If you know your town, your streets and your neighbourhood, you know how late you may be and need to leave early or schedule correctly. Royals are always on time and leave early and rather have a coffee at arrival and be on time. Royals expect others to be on time. At events its different cause Royals arrive the latest and leave the first as this is a royal Rule when it comes to an appearance. But they always appear and never flake.
Style. All communication, travel and visuals need to have a certain great and unique style. Royal stationary is embossed, has a crest, a logo or a nice adress and is unique. With that kind of communication you can ensure your mail is received properly. I just got a nice letter by Prince William of Great Britain and the envelope already told me to give that letter a priority. and I have to admit, that you always love to receive Royal Mail, even being related to every single european Royal house of Europe myself.
Family. We princely and royal Families love family and family time. We are close to our families and we talk on a daily basis and are communicators like hairstylists we constantly communicate. That is why even the Queen of England has a Twitter account and Instagram and why you can find us on www.facebook.com/prinzmariomax or www.twitter.com/schaumburglippe and www.instagram.com/princemariomax
Never Stop Moving. If you get yourself into a fast paced never stopping combination routine of live and work, then you will find yourself in a happy and relaxed state of mind even working more then you did before. It is a mind set that you can use and that makes you royal high power: Never Stop Moving! And this was invented by the one and only Royal of Dance: Luigi the legendary Jazz Dance Technique inventor who taught the professional Broadway class every day of the year until his 90´ birthday. And he came from Italian royalty ...
